Executive Chairman - Mungo Park
He is Executive Chairman, Founder and sole shareholder of Innovator Capital. He has been an investment banker for over 30 years focusing particularly on the Technology, Industrial Technology and the Biomedical Industry. Beginning with Alex. Brown & Sons, now part of Deutsche Bank, in Baltimore during the late seventies, latterly he was with Dillon Reid, Wertheim and Cowen & Company.
Mr. Park has been involved in each of the core investment banking disciplines: principal investing, trading, sales, origination and research in both the private and public equity markets, in addition to bridge financing, financial royalty structures and equity linked securities.
While Mr. Park has the advantage of having worked in industry itself, alongside Bernard Taylor (ex Chief Executive of Glaxo), he was Head of Corporate Finance at Nomura International plc, where he founded a significant investment banking practice. He ran a team of over 60 people and was responsible for originating business in Europe and North America and Japan. Whilst at Nomura the team he ran raised over US$1 billion of primary capital for small to medium sized Biomedical companies and further, more substantial sums, for Technology and Industrial Technology companies.
Corporate Finance Director - Cynthia Hung
Ms Hung has been with Innovator Capital for the past 3 years having previously spent almost 4 years with Penn, Schoen and Berland, an international political strategy firm in the US. There, her work was mainly focused on disruption management, where her projects included work for KPMG, Shell, P&G and McDonald's, amongst others. Most recently, she has provided business development advisory services for cleantech companies within continental Europe, followed by a brief term with Citigroup in the Capital Markets department. Ms. Hung has an MBA from INSEAD and a BA Highest Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
